The Fernández Herrero Wineries are the result of the dedication and enthusiasm of its founders, Rafael Fernández Sánchez and Luisa Herrero Portillo, as well as the support of their six children who enthusiastically joined this project, participating in the different management tasks of the winery .

The reunion with a tradition started by his great-grandparents (in 1935 the family already made more than 12,000 arrobas of red wine), made this project possible, which began in 2001 with the planting of the first vineyards in the Huéscar region, cradle of the families of Rafael and Luisa and incomparable setting for the elaboration and aging of the wine.

Based on purely artisanal techniques where the quality of the wine and respect for the environment prevail, IRVING is made, an excellent wine, which represents the family's commitment to producing a high altitude wine, a symbol of the best of its land and its traditions. .
